  1. I'm just using the "unified" theme, And it has no problems showing screenshots from other games. That's the strange bit????.
  2. Pictures of the problem (At least they look nice) And Big-Box Right now i would be satisfied if i just could make the big black square box on the left go away.
  3. Thank's everyone for replying, But i simply can't figure out the reason for the image not showing?. I also tried the Launchbox method, Before i began all of this troubleshooting, Launchbox already had found images for Arkanoid II. But big-box is apparently stubborn.
  4. Yes it is probably an easier way to add images that way, I have to get myself used to it i guess. So i went into Launchbox and deleted 3 unnecessary images and added the renames image Arkanoid II-01 to the list from the Japanese folder in the screenshot-gameplay library, didn't make any change sadly. What puzzles me is that there is no problem with the box-art or cartridge image at all.
  5. Yesterday i spend 4 hours on another image issue until i realized it was in TIFF format 😝 But this one is definitely in JPG.
  6. This came to my mind a few minutes after i posted my issue, But sadly it is named exactly the same in Launchbox's database. I can clarify that i'm talking about the NES title named Arkanoid II or Arkanoid II Revenge of doh, But the database justt refers it as Arkanoid II. My image is not just named after the rom, But also the actual file inside the zip file, My front box cover, The cartridge image and the fanart background image. Maybe i have to name all of them in Japanese as it is a famicom rom 😁, Nah!! i think. But i'm pretty damn clueless at the moment.
  7. Hi community. I'm in the middle of perfecting my big-box setup for the NES, But i am having problems adding images to certain games. Been digging into where to place images in folders to get them to show in Big-box, I'm in the middle of adding gameplay screenshots, But no matter which folder i place them in, They will not show up when selecting "Some" games? 1. i tried all folders in the Launchbox/Images/Nintendo entertainment system/Screenshot-gameplay directory. 2. Refreshed the image cache. 3. Tried to force-populate the images in Big-Box. 4. Priortised Screenshot g
  8. Just wanted to add that the video is from unbroken software and is 3 and a half year old, Maybe ir would be a good idea to take it down to avoid further confusion. Just saying.
  9. I did Google my question and found a youtube video on it, How am i supposed to know it was wrong?. The video explained to just drop the video "IN" the video folder, Not in a folder.
  10. Ahh nice!!, Must have been an outdated youtube video i watched. So as long as the folder is named startup i can place all the videos i want with no care of what they are named. GOT IT Thank's
  11. Oh now it is suddenly working. EH!! but i had to make a second copy of the same video to get it to work, Pure coincidence i did that 🙃
  12. Hi again! So i downloaded this cool startup video for big-box, But it is not playing. Correct me if i'm wrong, But you take the video file and name it "Startup.mp4 or just Startup" and then you drop it in your video folder, RIGHT??? BUT it will not play at all, Man!! sometimes i think my Launchbox is cursed beyond normal sense. Thank's for your support.
  13. Thank's for the tip, Have to admit i didn't know that. But my problem is that i can't get my own custom made clear logos to show in big box, In Launchbox there is no problem selecting between different types of images. Normally i start by importing the roms and and let Launchbox find and place the metadata, Then i place missing images in their respective folders and refresh them in Launchbox.
  14. It's a PNG file, I use 3d boxes in the application boxes in Launchbox, But i can see the clear logo if i add that instead.
  15. That is also where i placed it. Launchbox/Images/Nintendo Entertainment system/Clear Logo
  16. Hi there!! I have a few roms i want to customize with my own made logo (Cause i can't find a clear logo for it anywhere), But where do i place it in my Launcbox folder??. I used 2 different websites to create it, One for the logo itself and one for making it transparent(Is that neccesary?), I also made sure it had the same name is the rom/Box front cover and Fanart Background image and placed it in the clear logo folder under the platform i want to create it for, And i also made sure to refresh the image cache in Big-box. Here is a picture of horizontal wheel i have on the left
  17. Thank's for the warning, But i installed everything into a new folder so there are 2 separate instances of VLC (No files are being overwritten/Replaced). It seems everything works smoothly, All i had to do was to change the directory to the new VLC.exe for both of my platforms. Also just placing the srt file besides the movie and naming both the same works beautifully. BTW, I'm only using this instance of Launchbox for my movies, I Have another one for my games. I reckon i have enough work for the next 4 years
  18. Nevermind. I fixed it by installing a new version of VLC in the thirdparty folder of Launchbox
  19. Hello community. Does anyone know why subtitles are not showing in movies you import with launchbox, After the movie is imported adding a subtitle through vlc does not show up after launching it with Launchbox (Not even if you hardcode it into the video itself). Is there a command i can add to the command line parameters??, Also subtitles do show up when just launching the video outside Launchbox. Thank's for your time.
  20. I really don't have much experience with video files and how to convert them? I managed to put them back together with videopad into a single iso file, But the menu to select language and chapters was not set up correctly to a functioning menu. I tried to manually put all of the videoparts in a folder into the game folder in Launchbox, And then importing the Video_TS folder (Which should contain all the information needed), If i double click that file outside of Launcbox it works as intended with the intro and dvd menu selection (Or if i just right-click the folder and launch it wi
  21. Hi. I'm very well aware that Launchbox is not a movie frontend, But if you have no problems configuring everything yourself it's not bad at all for that purpose. My problem is that i have a video dvd that is split up in different parts rather than a whole image, I lost the original dvd image years ago due to corruption on an external HDD drive. I have no problem playing it using VLC (right-clicking on the folder or double-clicking on the video_TS file works fine), But i can't figure out how to import it properly??, VLC crashes when trying to launch it from Launchbox.
  22. Thank you for your help, It was the ID thing that was the issue. new knowledge added.
  23. Thank's for the response. Hmmm, Can't see what i am doing wrong here, When i downloaded the media for the 2 games i got 2 images of "10 Pin: Champions Alley" named incorrectly as "10.000 Bullets", But rthere was no 3d cover of 10.000 bullets even though it should be accesible to download from emumovies (Found it there manually). I don't know really??, Maybe a glitch in the Launchbox database. Moving on
  24. Merry Christmas (A little late) :). I have a little problem with showing the correct images in Launcbox, I have 2 ps2 games which Launchbox think's is the same game. For some reason launchbox thinks that "10.000 Bullets" And "10 Pin: Championship Alley" is the same game, I have 2 3d box images of 10 Pin : championship alley, But they are incorrectly named as 10.000 bullets. After trying to do a custom setup by placing 2 3d box images of each game in the 3d box folder in Launchbox, And 2 images of the games in the fan-art background folder i can not get the fan-art backgro
  25. I solved it myself LOL, Just dragged the banner logo into the clear logo folder and named it the same. Just a little strange that in launchbox platform list it's set to the banner folder, But it's using the clear logo folder????
