hyunchris
hey, I am new to this but it seems all the tutorials online are for older versions of launchbox. I am trying to import a game that I bought off the Microsoft store. Unfortunaltey, it will not show any of my games to import. I followed all the directions. I did not have trouble with my steam games. Is there anything that I should be doing before trying to import them. The Microsoft store says that my game is an app, but its a game? Your Friendly A.I Overlord
The easy way to do this is: Right click Windows Start --> Run Type: shell:AppsFolder Find your game, right click and select: create shortcut. This wil create a shortcut on your desktop. Copy shortcut to a location you desire. Import shortcut into LauncBox. As far as I'm aware, you have to do this per game. neil9000
Yes that has always been the correct way, but i will add that if you are using Gamepass for PC (which does use the Windows 10 store still, but also has its own app) then it was updated recently and you can create desktop shortcuts directly from there by just right clicking a game and choosing "create desktop shortcut".
