MustardCowboy
Hi there - My Arcade.xml file became corrupt last night, preventing me from starting up Launchbox or BigBox. I tried grabbing an older Arcade.xml file from the backups folder, and while that worked, the newest version I had was from last summer, and I've changed lots of settings/games/etc. since then. Also, the high scores stopped working, badges stopped displaying, and other random stuff started happening. I then saw that there is a new (to me) option to restore from a backup. One of the backup files was from yesterday, which would be perfect. Except when I try to restore, I get the following: Quote An unexpected error occurred while trying to restore the data backup file: Access to the path 'C:\Users\scott\Launchbox\Data' is denied. Any ideas on how I can get the restore to work?
C-Beats
Bit confused as to what you are seeing. If you have a recent backup (.7z) in your Backups folder you can just extract it to \\Launchbox\Data\ and it should be doing the same thing as the restore via LaunchBox. This all needs to be done while LaunchBox is CLOSED.

I was thinking I had to use the automated backup/restore system built into Launchbox, but your idea of just taking the .7z file and extracting it worked like a charm! So thankful I don't have to rebuild everything. Really appreciate the quick responses from everyone!
