kobaturtle
Hi, Apparently in Bigbox, a favorite game is not visible anymore in alphabetical. Is there a way to make it visible in both fav and alpha sorting? Thanks!
Retro808
Are your favorites showing at the top of the platform's list of games? If so, in BigBox settings go to Views and there is a check box for "Show Favorited Games First" make sure it is not checked.
kobaturtle
Thanks for the tip! It's better this way. But I'd also like having fav at the beginning. Is it possible to have them at the beginning and in Alpha sorting at the same time?

slizzap
I think I'm looking for something similar. I'm a new user to Launchbox, just working with it for the past 2 weeks now. I spent some time over the past couple days working on the BigBox interface and was trying to figure out a way to display Favorites the way I prefer. I'm moving over from HyperSpin, and while I've been really enjoying the changes LB/BB brings to the table, Favorites is one item so far that I've been unhappy with and am actually trying to replicate over to BB from HyperSpin. In HyperSpin while in a platform view (let's say SNES), and all games are displaying, I press a button to view favorites, and now I'm showing an edited list of the entire collection that only shows the Favorites. In BB, depending on your settings, adding as a Favorite will simply place a star next to the game and either leave it in alphabetical view or put it at the top of the list. If it's not at the top, you have to scroll through the entire list to find your Favorites...not ideal. If at the top, you're removing it from the alphabetical list. And if someone else is scrolling through games trying to find something they may not find it as it's moved to the top. Both locations would be good, but IMO the ideal configuration would be the press left on the controller to pull up the sort list, go to the top of the letter list where the star is, select the star, and it filters the entire list to only your favorites. Based on some quick research I thought maybe Playlists was the answer, but after playing around with it, that doesn't achieve what I want. If what I'm looking for is not currently possible, I would love to see that option implemented in BB. Please advise, as I can submit a Feature Request if necessary. Thanks! Retro808
@slizzap All feature request are done in our bitbucket site. Top of the forum site click on "Help & Support" then click "Request a Feature". Please do a search on the bitbucket site first to see if a similar feature has already been submitted. If so comment on that one and vote.
slizzap
I saw there was an existing feature request, so I upvoted that one. Now there are 2 votes ? I did find a roundabout way of doing what I want. When I press left on the text list and I get the sort menu, right above the Star is a filter option. So I can set the Favorite option to "is true", back up and it only shows Favorites on the list. That works great. So now I need to search around to see if there's a way for me to simplify that process, such as by having pre-defined filters created on this page that I can toggle on/off. Thanks.
