BB Back button functionality changes to ESC button after exiting Dolphin

No luck on the Launchbox subreddit, so I'll give it a shot here:

I use the back button to return to the previous screen in BigBox. This works without issue, until I exit Dolphin by using the BigBox game menu to exit a game. Dolphin closes correctly and I am returned to the game screen. When I then hit the back button, BigBox immediately closes. I normally use the ESC key to exit BigBox.

What is causing the Back button functionality to change to the ESC key after I exit Dolphin?

Thanks.

Under Tools, Edit Emulators - Dolphin, do you have anything in the "Running AutoHotkey Script" or " Exit AutoHotkey Script" tabs?

Nothing in either for Dolphin, besides this comment in the Exit AutoHotkey Script:

; No custom exit script is necessary for Dolphin
; since it already uses the Escape key by default

That's good because that's how it's supposed to be. :)  (process of elimination - baby steps. lol)

Is the only command line parameter(s) you have for Dolphin      -b -e       ?

Yes.  Nothing else out of the ordinary that I can see in The Emulator settings.

Thanks for your help.  I will turn on logging to see what's going on when I exit Dolphin and hit the Back button.
