Cineaste Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 I would like to clean up my rom collection which means moving around a bunch of files. Can anyone think of an easy way to bulk-edit file paths in Launchbox so that I don't break my entire setup? Quote

Cineaste Posted October 26, 2020 Author Posted October 26, 2020 I suppose I need to use the search function more. Quote
Retro808 Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Keep in mind that is Rom path related only. If you are changing paths for emulators or media it is a more manual process. Quote

Luckily I don't have too many emulators set up currently so the the process should be relatively straightforward. Quote

Just do it in the >Tools>Manage Emulators and edit for each on affected. Where it can be a pain is if you are changing media path locations outside of the LB folder structure. Most do not mess with that, but just a heads up if you choose to. Quote

It's only the roms and emulators that have their own path (which means my setup isn't portable but that's another story). Edited October 26, 2020 by Thornback Quote
