GPU and Big Box

Does GPU affect Big Box performance?

I'm not going to open the Big Box and PC performance can of worms.

I'm just curious if stepping up from integrated graphics would improve performance, or if RAM is more important?

Yes, a GPU absolutely helps.

Big Box uses WPF to render the UI which uses Direct X when possible, with a fallback to software renderer. Because of this a GPU GREATLY improves performance because you now have a dedicated card handling any rendering/image requests which then also frees up the CPU to be used more heavily by the data heavy processes.
