at_the_arcade Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 Hello All! Long time EmulationStation and Hyperspin user here. I'm trying to migrate a couple of my machines over to LaunchBox so I'm still learning my way around this system. There's a nagging issue that I can't seem to figure out: how can I remove the text that appears at the bottom when in a game list menu? It first shows the file name of the selected game and then it scrolls to Publisher: Genre: Play Mode: Rating:. I want a nice clean look so I'd like to remove those. I've unchecked every box I thought that could apply both in general options and theme specific options but that information is still down there. Not sure if it matters but I'm using BigBox with the Unified theme. I'm using the Vertical Wheel 4 Games View inside that theme. Thanks! Quote
JoeViking245 Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 In BigBox, go to Options, Game Details and check/un-check what you want to see/not want to see. Quote
at_the_arcade Posted January 20, 2021 Author Posted January 20, 2021 Thank you for the reply! I already have all of that unchecked and the information still shows. That's what has me so confused. Quote
Retro808 Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 Those check boxes will not affect something hard coded in a custom theme like Unified. You will need to edit the the theme’s specific xml for the view you are using and remove those lines of code for that metadata. Quote
Sinan Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I have tried to do this in the desktop version. I am using the default theme and I've unchecked all boxes under game details. It still shows the publisher under the picture of the box. Any ideas? Thanks Quote
