M_Graham Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 Hey everyone, I'm sort of new to the Launch/Bigbox scene and am trying to learn the ropes. I was wondering if there was a way to integrate music (like the Wii menu music) into Launchbox and Big box and have it play in the background while I navigate through the menus to pick a game or while i am tinkering with settings. I'm sure it's not that difficult and I am likely overthinking how to do it, but any help or advice given would be welcomed. Thank you. -M Quote
faeran Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Hi @M_Graham, You can place background music files in: LAUNCHBOX\Music\Background You can also play platform specific music by placing music files in: LAUNCHBOX\Music\Background\Platforms\[Platform Name] Then just make sure you have the background music option enabled in Big Box, which can be found in: Options > Sound > Enable Background Music 2 Quote
ennahh76 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 (edited) is there a way of having the music play on the first menu only? if i have it playing in the first menu, it plays in the playlists as well if i don't have something else assigned to that playlist. Edited June 3, 2024 by ennahh76 Quote
Airpyr8t Posted Monday at 10:17 PM Posted Monday at 10:17 PM (edited) Is there a way to make bigbox play from a playlist instead of having multiple copies of my mps'3 everywhere? I remember seeing something about vlc media player linked to Bigbox somehow. So is playing from an srt or m3u or similar file possible? Edited Monday at 10:18 PM by Airpyr8t Quote
