Turn off retro achievements notification pop up?

Hey guys I'm just wondering if there is a way to disable retro achievements integration entirely. Whenever I launch a game in big box I get a giant pop up window saying could not contact retro achievements server. It's super annoying had any one else come across this?

We don't contact RetroAchievements when you launch a game. Are you seeing this when launching a game via RetroArch? Could it be you're seeing the RetroArch notification saying it failed to contact RetroAchievements? If so I believe you can shut that off in the menu.

The games are launching through mame. I also have RetroArch installed so I'll try turning off notifications there but the games are definitely launching with mame.

Can you take a screenshot of the popup you're seeing and paste it, I'm not real sure what you'd be referring to then.

And to explain more so I had retro achievements set up before and instead of that pop up I got one saying there are no achievements for whatever game I had selected. I'd like to just have no pop ups from retro achievements at all.

This seems like you are running MAME in RetroArch.

You can disable it here: https://www.retroarch.com/?page=achievements

Settings > Achievements within RetroArch

I'm definitely launching the games with standalone mame so I don't think that's right. Either way both achievements and on screen notifications are both turned off in RetroArch and I still get that huge pop up.

Hey guys I figured out it was user error. I had select and view game mapped to the same button so when I clicked a game the notification popped up. I deleted the view game mapping and the pop up is gone.
