Whenever I launch a game in big box I get a giant pop up window saying could not contact retro achievements server. It's super annoying had any one else come across this? C-Beats Posted July 30, 2021 Share Posted July 30, 2021 We don't contact RetroAchievements when you launch a game. Are you seeing this when launching a game via RetroArch? Could it be you're seeing the RetroArch notification saying it failed to contact RetroAchievements? If so I believe you can shut that off in the menu. thesupercomboy Posted July 30, 2021 Author Share Posted July 30, 2021 I'm definitely launching the games with standalone mame so I don't think that's right. I had select and view game mapped to the same button so when I clicked a game the notification popped up. I deleted the view game mapping and the pop up is gone.
