sirgubster9
on teknoparrot especially, but also a bunch of other emulators whenever I am using my keyboard on a racing game and I press right or left it goes buckwild and goes all the way left or all the way right. It's very difficult to just go one by one like you would if you where using a keyboard or a gamepad or something. How does one fix this? I've googled until my fingers hurt and no one seems to be asking this question or I am very bad at googling, both might be true.
Headrush69
There's no single simple answer as every emulator is different and how well they do digital to analog conversion can very greatly. One thing you can try is turning off or down the auto repeat key speed in windows, so your not sending the same key repeatedly when held down longer. What's weird is in teknoparrot it even changes depending on game. Actually I have been using jconfig instead because it runs so much more smoothly and easily. But ya Mario Kart for instance will let me choose a character like normal, while dirty driving will have me unable to choose guys unless I want the furthest right or left or randomly trying to press the select button while it's shooting back and forth.
