PS4 and 8Bitdo Pro 2 Controllers - Can anyone shed some light?

Okay...  I'm getting Launchbox/Bigbox all setup.  I've been using a PS4 Controller (wired) for most of the testing.  I understand getting the PS4 controller working well requires using 3rd party apps to emulated Xbox controllers (which I hate anyway as they hijack the PS button to be the stupid Xbox Control Bar).

So I bought a 8Bitdo Pro 2 Controller.  Nice controller.  Got it paired in "D" mode as I don't like X mode since, once again, it hijacks the "Home" button to be the stupid Xbox Control Bar.

Well...  for a time I had Launchbox see the 8bitdo controller when I had "Use all controllers" checked.  It seemed like it booted the PS4 controller.  Now I can't get it to see the controller no matter what I do.  Is it just a pipe dream to ever have 2 controllers of this type working at the same time?

Gotta love RetroArch on linux...  you just plug in the controller once, press a button and you're good to go wirelessly.  All of this Windows bluetooth nonsense sucks.

Anyone care to share a setup that works?

@Lordmonkus Thanks for the reply.  That particular issue is solved.  However, this PS4 controller and 8bitdo pro 2 just don't want to co-exist.  I can get the 8bitdo setup and working.  Wirelessly and controlling Launchbox/Bigbox no problem.   As soon as I connect the DS4 through bluetooth, neither controller will work in Launchbox/BB.  In Launchbox I check and uncheck "Use All Attached Controllers", but no love.  It's also interesting that once the DS4 is connected, the "Choose a wireless Device" turns to "Wireless Controller" and "8bitdo" is no longer on the list.  Even after refreshing.

I'm basically just trying to get a second controller working wirelessly.
