  1. Thanks so much for this. I was searching for an answer as I am just fiddling with Big Box started through Big Picture. This makes life SOOOO much easier. Cheers.
  2. Pretty sure I was having the controller problems with Gamecube. Some things have to be changed in the dolphin.ini file to get multiple controllers working. Here's the reddit thread about it. (So if someone else finds it they can get help)
  3. You can just start downloading again. Select all the items you want and then the trick is to click on the middle option. It is something like "search for everything, but don't replace media" (recommended). That should sort you out.
  4. OMG that is so cool! And if I wouldn't have found your project, I wouldn't have been turned on to those! I'm kind of freaking out right now. This is too cool. Real quick... maybe a dumb question, but I don't want to screw something up... should I replace .\C64 Dreams\C64 Dreams\Magazines with the entire Magazines directory from the add-on? Or should that live somewhere else? Sorry if that's been answered... I can't find it.
  5. This is sooooo freakin' cool. It took a sec for it to dawn on me it is it's OWN Launchbox setup. SO dope. Does anyone know of anything like this for other demo scene content or DOS stuff? Really anything at this level? I wouldn't expect so. Thanks @Zombeaver! This is truly something special.
  6. I'm having exactly the same issue as the OP - and OP's original post (OP's O.P.?). Sega CD games with sound effects but no soundtrack. Using .cue/.bin files. RetroArch/Libretro forums are currently down, but if anyone can shed some light that would be slick. EDIT: Well, not EXACTLY the same problem. I get sound effects, but no "CD Audio". That is background music, etc. .CUE files all look correct and .bin files are all present.
  7. @Lordmonkus Thanks for the reply. That particular issue is solved. However, this PS4 controller and 8bitdo pro 2 just don't want to co-exist. I can get the 8bitdo setup and working. Wirelessly and controlling Launchbox/Bigbox no problem. As soon as I connect the DS4 through bluetooth, neither controller will work in Launchbox/BB. In Launchbox I check and uncheck "Use All Attached Controllers", but no love. It's also interesting that once the DS4 is connected, the "Choose a wireless Device" turns to "Wireless Controller" and "8bitdo" is no longer on the list. Even after refreshing. I'm basically just trying to get a second controller working wirelessly.
  8. Oh shit... sorry. I didn't know I had already posted one. My bust.
  9. And found the answer to #1. "Win+I" (or bring up Windows Settings) ->Gaming->Xbox Game Bar and select "Off" and recheck "Open Xbox Game Bar using this button on a controller" Done... that thing is out of here. Good riddance.
  10. For me it brings up the Xbox Game Bar or whatever the shit that thing is called. It sucks.
  11. Aha! "Menu Toggle Controller Combo" was my huckleberry for question #2. #1 is still an open item.
  12. Question 1: Can I disable the "Xbox" button on a wired Xbox controller for Launchbox (or make it do something else). I'd like it to act like the PS button on a DS4 controller (bring up RetroArch while in game etc.) Question 2: What is another way (besides F1) to bring up RetroArch while in game? Im used to a DS4 controller, so when I use an Xbox controller I'm kind of at a loss to just do simple things like back out to RetroArch. Probably dumb questions...
  13. Okay... I'm getting Launchbox/Bigbox all setup. I've been using a PS4 Controller (wired) for most of the testing. I understand getting the PS4 controller working well requires using 3rd party apps to emulated Xbox controllers (which I hate anyway as they hijack the PS button to be the stupid Xbox Control Bar). So I bought a 8Bitdo Pro 2 Controller. Nice controller. Got it paired in "D" mode as I don't like X mode since, once again, it hijacks the "Home" button to be the stupid Xbox Control Bar. Well... for a time I had Launchbox see the 8bitdo controller when I had "Use all controllers" checked. It seemed like it booted the PS4 controller. Now I can't get it to see the controller no matter what I do. Is it just a pipe dream to ever have 2 controllers of this type working at the same time? Gotta love RetroArch on linux... you just plug in the controller once, press a button and you're good to go wirelessly. All of this Windows bluetooth nonsense sucks. Anyone care to share a setup that works?
  14. Hi @Cnells2000. I had exactly that problem. I changed the default video player from VLC (recommended) back to Windows Media PLayer and everything is working for me now. Hope that helps.
