Hello everyone, I'm new to launchbox and just got it up and running in my home arcade. For some reason I can't get Xbox to work. Whenever I click on I game it comes up with an "error" stating "failed to open flash file ". Please check machine settings" I'm sure it's something simple. I just honestly don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Before anyone would be able to help, we'd need some more information. First of all, are you using CXBX or Xemu to play your Xbox games? Also, are you able to get the games to run on their own, using the emulator by itself (without LaunchBox)? If not, I'd highly recommend checking out one of the xbox tutorials here or on youtube, as that helped me out when I was having troubles. Also, both emulators (CXBX and Xemu) require bios files in their respective folders, so you want to make sure you have all the necessary files with their emulator(s).

Here's the tutorial for Xemu if you're interested in checking it out:

Oops! Just noticed that you posted this in in the "Android" forum. I'm guessing that either you posted this in the wrong forum, or there's an Xbox emulator for android out there in the wild that I haven't heard about yet?

If this is somehow on Android, i highly doubt there are any devices out there powerful enough to run XBOX games, that is a real tricky system to emulate and still has issues on hugely powerful Windows PC's. All devices that run Android are "relatively" low powered when compared to actual PC hardware, even things like the shield, and the latest Snapdragon chips in new phones, while good for such small devices, are far far behind PC performance.
