Hi,

I'm importing the latest MAME merged romset. I noticed that i have two Street Fighter Alpha: warriors' dreams?

I assumed that importing a 'merged' romset would mean i would have one version of the game, and then be able to play any version via the submenu of that game?

(Attached image)

One is launching ..\ROMS\MAME\sfau.zip

And the other is launching ..\ROMS\MAME\sfach.zip (a CLONE)

I have been follwoing this:

Can anyone help shed some light on this?

Thanks

I'm not sure why that has happened but it's like that for me also.

You can highlight both games, right click one and choose the combine option to fix it though.

Also i should add that your romset type has zero impact on how the games are imported, we do not physically import the files, we get the working games list, as well as the file names from those games directly from the mame.exe, we dont actually look at your rom files at all when using the mame fullset import wizard.
