MrNarwhalker Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Currently on 12.9 and whenever I tap to open Options I will get a spinning loader over my cursor for a moment, and then nothing occurs. I've restarted and checked for updates but don't really know any other methods to troubleshoot this. Quote

It was working once right after a fresh install, but as soon as I added about 300 games, it starts to freeze up. Actually, it seems to recover after 5 minutes of waiting. MrNarwhalker Posted March 23, 2022 Author Posted March 23, 2022 correct. closed, confirmed in task manager. deleted data folder (moved it to my desktop). relaunched. it loaded as if it were a fresh install and asked me how I wanted to import games. closed that pop up and hit options to a loading spinner followed by the above error Quote
C-Beats Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Can you confirm whether we are talking about Big Box or LaunchBox? That error is talking about a path/view that is used in Big Box, but I was reading your post as if you were talking about LaunchBox. At this point I'd do a fresh install to a new directory and see if you still have the issue. If not, copy your data folder back in, then see if you have the issue. Quote

That folder should be deleted and replaced on startup and it looks like that process is failing. If you delete that file you should be in better shape. Quote
