joelfabiani
Hey guys, I just started to use the Android version and I'm enjoying a lot. Running the latest version and with I bought a premium key. The only issue I'm facing is related to downloaded media. I deleted a SNES game and confirmed that I wanted to remove all associated media. None was deleted. I checked on file manager and both video and images was still present on launchbox folders. Is there any workaround? Backgroung: Android 12 Samsung Galaxy S22 - Snapdragon Version 1.0 Thank you
Jason Carr
Hi @joelfabiani, thanks for the purchase. LaunchBox for Android won't delete the media if it's in use, which I guess is probably what's happening. But if none are deleted, I doubt that it's LaunchBox that's holding onto the files. Maybe there's another app that's causing the problem? I've tested on my devices and I haven't been able to replicate an issue with the deletes. Worst case scenario, you can always just manually delete the relevant media folders when necessary.
Jason Carr
Actually, come to think of it, I've tested deleting an entire platform, and confirmed that the media files are deleted. I will test to confirm if a single game's deletions are working properly.
joelfabiani
Hey Jason, thank you for your input and for the great piece of software Launchbox has alwas been. Regarding the deletion, I didn't test deleting an entire platform and I agree it would be very easy to remove the media since it would be just a matter of removing the entire platform media folder. If possible, please try removing just one single game. It would reflect the scenario I ran into here. The challenge is that I needed to write down the name of the games to remove this files from six different folders (front, back, cartridge...). I hope the `Clean up` option (present on PC) sometime reach the mobile version.
