Gamefreakblog
Hi. I've just heard about SNES MSU-1 games. I've managed to source some, folders with the .sfc file, as well as the pcm files. I import them, and all it does is add all the pcm files. Read about pre-patched versions. Did the same. Got the same result. Read about having to patch them, followed a tutorial, when I got to the patch part said I almost didn't need to as it was done already, but I can't really remember what it said. So again I added the file and the same result, just all the pcm files added to the game lists. It will on occasion just add the game, which plays and just has normal sound. I just cannot get them to work. Still learning, so if you have an idea please try and explain it in relatively simple terms....hehe
Lordmonkus
Yes they work. I recommend using the Snes9x emulator for them, either the RA core or stand alone work fine. Patch up the game following the instructions carefully and have the music packs for it and then just load the patched rom into the emulator. launchretrogirl2562
Tested with Retroarch 1.10.3 and mesen_s libreto core and all MSU-1 games tested and playable. I've extracted all zips in seperate folders and use the .sfc file from within launchbox to run the game. Zips also do work but I remember an issue with one or two games??
