Tackskull Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 Hi there, I downloadded today the latest version of pcsx2 with the new gui. Once I replaced the old one with this one, I set it as default emulator for ps2 games in launchbox. The problem is that any games don't start. On the command line I insert --fullscreen -batch -fullboot, but nothing change. How can I use the latest pcsx2 version to run games in launchbox-bigbox? Quote
Lordmonkus Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 A forum search would find you the answers to this, it was even asked yesterday. Quote
Tackskull Posted June 6, 2022 Author Posted June 6, 2022 Solved, I had just to update correctly the code for the emulator, I used a - more and for this it wasn't working -fullscreen -batch 1 Quote

JamesBond@ge Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Is it true that this version of PCSX2 doesn't run on Windows 7 64-bit? I've tried it on mine (independent of LaunchBox) and it doesn't even open. Quote

JamesBond@ge Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Yeah, just checked their site (obvious really lol). Damn, no more Windows 7 builds. I'll leave this here incase anyone else is too lazy to check their site 😉 Minimum # Operating System Windows 8.1 or newer (64 bit) Ubuntu 18.04/Debian or newer, Arch Linux, or other distro (64 bit) Quote
Lordmonkus Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Windows 7 is dead sadly, it had a great run but it's time to move on. Windows 10 is extremely solid, I have had zero issues with it since making the move. 1 Quote
JamesBond@ge Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 *sighs* Yeah, yeah you're right. More and more games now are Windows 10 only. RyuJinx emulator has also gone Windows 10. You get so hooked into an OS that when it comes time to upgrade, it feels like a skin transplant 😞 Quote
