Does the change ROM folder path mean that we can now use the SD card as external?

I had to format the SD as internal to be able to use LB as otherwise I got this permission not granted error when trying to change paths. I works but I'm losing 128GB of internal storage which is obviously a bummer.

I run LB Android on my Odin Pro with the SD card set as external storage and have never had permission issues. I just recently moved items from my SD external storage to internal storage and used the change ROM folder path and had no issues.

Well the problem is stated in this thread, last post was 2 weeks ago, and the problem seems not to have been solved.

Problem you're stating and this thread don't read even close to the same. That thread is talking about not being able to run LaunchBox directly off an SD card formatted as external storage. You're talking about a new feature that was put in about a week ago which simply changes the ROM's application path folder from one folder to another (like the feature does in LB Windows)

Ok, thought the other problem was solved, didn't know this was a "new feature", thought that would be something normal to be able to change ROM paths.
