screwball69 Posted August 3, 2022 Share Posted August 3, 2022 When I updated Launchbox to 12.14 Avast quarantined something and it continues tot kill a new install, I assume this is just a false positive and I should make a exception but is there any particular change that would be causing this? C-Beats Posted August 3, 2022 Share Posted August 3, 2022 Frankly Avast is a complete waste of resources and acts far more as malware than it does protect your machine. The only AV you need for Windows is the build in Windows Defender. VirusTotal lists that the setup passed all 65 scanners (including Avast) so unsure why yours is flagging it malicious. Ed_two0nine Posted August 4, 2022 Share Posted August 4, 2022 Just had the same issue. Made an exception in Avast for the whole Launchbox folder. Restart.
