Scanlines for retroarch with launchbox

I installed launchbox and I'm running games with mame roms.

When I fetched mame roms directory, I selected retroarch as runtime application. But when the game runs, the graphics are very bad and I would like to enable scanlines when playing any game through retroarch through launchbox.

Is there any tutorial for those who don't know anything about these emulators?
