Can anyone Help?

I am ripping apart my cabinet to start from scratch. I am coming from Hyperspin in which I had a terrible experience with. I want to install everything this time around myself. I have Launch / Big Box installed and signed up for the premium version because I think its just great. I installed my first set of games MAME and it is working well, really well.    I have a 4 player arcade that I built. Is there anywhere I could get some guidance?  I need some clarity on what emulators to use or what an emulator is... I mean I have an idea but need some clarity. The End game is to have the classic arcade machines, Atari 2600, Super Nintendo, Xbox, PS4, and Steam running. Is there anybody out there that can help or has a service that provides guidance. I don't want to just buy a drive, I would like to get my hands dirty so I understand it better. I am computer and electronic savvy.

This should help...

There are a lot of videos available to guide you through setting up the emulators and much more LaunchBox/BigBox related on the official YouTube page.  Unbroken Software, LLC - YouTube

The biggest thing to getting the emulators to work in LB/BB is to make sure they work by themselves outside of LB/BB.

For Atari 2600 you can use retroarch (see below for links) with the stella core.
Just add Retroarch as emulator in Launchbox

And use following settings in associated platforms

XBox has several emulators but xemu and xenia are the ones I use
