bumbly
I have a marquee screen that is 2560 x 1440p and a CRT main display that is 640 x 480. When using the high resolution screen as my marquee and CRT as the main display, everything works as expected. When using the high resolution screen as both my main display and marquee screen, this mostly works. What happens is, navigating the menus shows up just fine, when I select a game, the game shows up on the CRT screen, which is great! The problem is, the high resolution screen simply goes black until the game ends. I'd like to use my high resolution screen for navigation, then when selecting the game, have that same screen switch to marquee. Is this possible? Retro808
Not currently possible with settings in BB. You have to set a unique screen for each. It may be possible with a plug-in created for BB, but I have not seen anyone make one yet.
bumbly
Thanks for the reply! I'll look into making my own plugin. I'm running a batch file that does several things when launching or closing a game through BigBox, perhaps I can also write to the BigBox configuration file when launching the game. There's a plugin that will display an image during gameplay on the monitor you set it up for. It's in the Development and Beta Testing section, but I'm told it works. As in, it could probably go in the regular downloads section. But the interest level was so-so. So it's just as easy to point to that thread. lol There's an updated version about 1/2 down page #2 (v1.1) that displays the images better (scale-wise) and offers [more] options for image selection than the original on page #1.
