Are Sub-Playlists possible (or is there a workaround)?

Note: Looking for BigBox solutions, as it’s all I use.

When, for example, I select my “NES” playlist, I don’t always need to see all ~800 titles listed to sift through. I like the idea of having 3 or so “tiers”: perhaps “NES all”, “NES good”, and “NES hall of fame”. I know I can make separate playlists this way, but when using playlists as my menu format, it clutters fast. It would be cool to have a main menu item that says “NES”, and, upon selection, allows me to choose which sub-playlist (as above) I’d like to navigate to. I don’t believe this is an existing feature, though I’d appreciate help if I’m wrong.

Or.. is there a work-around anyone could point me to that would achieve a similar result, like being able to set up platform-specific filters or the like?

What you're asking for is our Platform Category View. You can then set your hierarchy to be anything you like. We have an older tutorial on how the process works here. The UI has changed since that video was posted but the logic is still almost identical and should least get you started down the rabbit hole.

Thanks to you both! I figured it out. LordMonkus declaring that it was possible gave me the motivation to explore deeper - I was close, as I knew about platform categories. It was manipulating the “parent” option of a given playlist that was the clincher. I’m now well on my way to my ultimate library :)
