Jonny Severn Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Hi, I have a full license of Redream, and I have recently reinstalled windows 11 on my C drive and copied my redream folder and the game's across. But I am getting graphical and sound glitches. I've tried a fresh install, But I'm still getting the same problem. Am I missing something simple? Lukeyboy67 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 I now have the exact same problem, last time I ran Redream was a few month back and it was perfect, never had a problem with it. So today I try a few games and they all have screen glitches now, I've tried changing every option in the emu, grabbed the latest Redream release, no change. I'm still on Win 10, there was a update for it recently, dunno if that changed anything? Did you find a solution by any chance? Quote
Jakatsu Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 @Lukeyboy67 Have you tried native rendering resolution to see if the glitches still appear, or just when upscaling the resolution? You might also want to update your display driver to the latest one, just to see if that makes any difference. I remember having a similar problem couple of years ago after a Windows update, and installing the latest display driver fixed it for me that time. 1 Quote
CanaaniteX Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Hi, I recently started using Redream and have the same issue. Looking around, it seems to be an issue on some AMD cards/APUs, and how the emulator was programmed, causing 'artifacts' (glitchy looking graphics). Latest drivers don't seem to resolve for anyone, but the devs appear to be working with AMD support on it. It seems like a nice easy to use Emu, but I'll probably use Flycast or Demul for now. CanaaniteX Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Looks like the latest AMD drivers fixed the artifacts (graphical glitches) issue. I tried DOA2, MvC2, Sonic Adventure 1&2, and don't notice the issue anymore. AMD 23.8.1, Window 11, Ryzen 7 Quote
