Platform categories enabled can't edit emulator settings for arcade platform

With the new platform categories option enabled I can't see a way to modify the emulator settings for arcade, it looks like it just considers arcade as a category so you miss the subscreen where you would normally be able to access this.

Is there a way to get to this without disabling categories?

You should be able to. Are you able to provide screenshots of your options menu, and what you are seeing?

Ah, I see. Thanks for the detailed post. The issue is that when there is only one platform underneath the Arcade category (the Arcade platform), then we go ahead and skip the platforms list, because it's pointless in that case (other than for editing the platform, apparently). For now, you can temporarily turn off "Start with Platform Categories" in the Options menu, which should allow you to edit the platform. We'll look to add a fix for that here in the future.
