[SCUMMVM] Can you specify a folder path (not a file) in manually added ROMs?

I've gave up on the scummvm addons and I'd like to simply manually add a 'Folder path' as opposed to a ROM File to the parameters when I execute something like this:

C:\scummvm261\scummvm.exe --aspect-ratio -f -P %ROMFOLDERPATH% --auto-detect

The above works for me in a commandline I simply want to specify a folder path, not a file as explicitly expected, to my manually added ScummVM emulator config  commandline

Is there an alternate to %ROMFILEPATH% such as %ROMFILEDIR%?

I get told the file is missing when I handball an emulation path of a directory over an explicit file. I'm experimenting with .svm files as a file to use on my handheld and scummvm 2.5.1 and it works a treat so simply trying to see if ScummVM 2.6.1 would respect same approach.

I'd love to help with a simpler solution if possible but kind of not wanting to go down the add-on plugin route or hacky per ROM/ScummVM game batch script route (to be fair I've not gone deeper into those to fully understand em tho)

A wee cheeky 'rom path is folder; check box or an extra alias/env like %ROMFILEDIR% would help massively here I feel.

Cheers!

J
