ROM management

HI All -

Hope you can help me out. And thanks for all the previous help system is amazing!

Problem:
With many systems (example: Super Nintendo, Atari, or Arcade) i find myself only playing a few games and find my scrolling time through games taking more time than playing the games haha - good problem to have but ...

Question?:
During the import process of my game folders is it possible to select ONLY the games i want? 

Question2:
How do you manage this? create favorites? or can i just import the games i want using the LB platform.

Im sure i can create a new folder with only the games i want but that is not ideal because the game names dont exactly match up to what the game is. Only when i import into LB do i see the actual name of the game. 

Is there a way to select or de-select ONLY the games i want to import during this process?

Highlight the games you don't want and press delete.

right before you click the last button to start the actual import process. the window has a list of all the games it detected. you can edit their names here for example so they import with the proper name (game title) if it didn't scrape as intended. you can also remove them by highlighting and deleting them in this list, that way they are never imported

One more question  please -

My ROMS are stored on an external drive and are being played from the external drive.

If i delete them in LB does it delete the ROMS from the external drive? or just from LB?

Additionally can you point me to a thread / document that creates favorites.

Now that im thinking - thats probably what i really need. 

1- Keep all the ROMS
2- Create some kind of favorites section to access the games i regularly play

Just from LB unless you enable the deletion of the file within the LB options.

Where is that setting? Just want to check it - i did not mess with those settings so i am assuming the default is not to delete. but would like to check it.

Default is to not delete, the setting is in the first screen in the Settings, General.

How do i make the "Recently Played" art work that you have there?

Is that in LB?

Or do i need to make in "Paint" or Photoshop type program?

If i need a 3rd party app can you tell me what the size is and how you made it?
