MJF
Recently, someone marked the arcade version of Bang Bang Busters for deletion, saying it only exists on the NEO GEO AES (home console). However, according to both wikipedia and mobygames, the game was in-deed released in arcades in 2011. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bang_Bang_Busters and https://www.mobygames.com/game/130547/bang2-busters/ Please do not mark games for deletion without doing any actual research
Merovingio
The problem is that it puts it in SNK Neo Geo MVS when MAME playlists are made.

And how is that a problem? According to the Wikipedia article it IS a MVS game. Quote Though it was initially launched for the Neo Geo AES, the game was later released for both Neo Geo MVS (arcade) and Neo Geo CD in 2011 and 2012 respectively, as well for the Dreamcast in 2018. If you are the person who made the deletion request than I’d like to ask you to do stop with that.
C-Beats
The MAME arcade lists don't look at the GamesDatabase at all to do what they do. Typically it's driven by the Source field that we get from MAME itself (though that isn't true for all of them). You can right click the playlist in question to see what logic is driving it. I don't believe any of those playlists are manual.

I have also looked at wikipedia and it said that it is not in MVS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Neo_Geo_games Only Neo Geo AES and CD. That's why I made the change And most importantly, the version that is included in the playlists MAME (Neo Geo MVS) is 2010 NCI Release. It is for Arcade, no MVS. You should measure your words because your answer has been quite arrogant.

Read the bottom of WIKIPEDIA, it says ARCADE SYSTEM MVS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bang_Bang_Busters pLUS IF the game was released in the ARCADES, it should be a part of the ARCADE database, not just the NEO GEO HOME CONSOLE section. I often find that those lists on WIkipedia aren't always complete, I definitely wouldn't solely rely on them. If you don’t believe me than here’s a link to a shop were the MVS version is listed. https://www.neostore.com/Bang-Bang-Busters-MVS-kit-p/1248.htm There also seems to be conflicting info when that version actually came out. According to the shop site the 2010 NCI release seems to be correct. It even says 2010 on the flyer as well. EDIT: I’d also like to add to what C-Beats said. The playlist doesn’t care if the game is in the database or not. It just includes everything that runs through the neogeo driver inside MAME and doesn’t differentiate between AES and MVS. If that bothers you than you would either need to manually exclude all AES exclusive games inside your playlist settings or remove the content inside the Source field of said games. Just like mobygames (which also has inaccuracies), it's also public sourced and contributed to. Wiki is much better than it used to be, but there are still a LOT of inaccuracies in their DB. Always check MULTIPLE sources, not just one
