I get start up sound black screen then after some time it just closes.  No error message only what's reporting in the log files.

Yeah, that isn't quite the same as what has been reported in this thread and the other I've been working in. Can you go ahead and go through the entire crash situation then send me your log file?

I am not sure if this is the same issue I'm having, but I started up my gaming PC yesterday with Bigbox set as the default shell and it boots to a black screen. No sound, I can see my cursor when I move the touchpad on my keyboard. None of my keyboard inputs, like Ctrl, Shift, Esc to bring up the taskmanager seem to work except Windows + P which brings up the project to screen window. Does anyone know how i can startup explorer.exe and undo the changes Bigbox made to the default shell?

I couldn't find a way to exit the black screen, so i reinstalled the operating system. My games are alright since my OS is on a separate disk. But I will definitely create a system restore disk to save time in case this happens again.

I'm having the same issue black screen in big ox only. I can see the startup video then black screen.

ok so i removed the vodeo startup folder and when i click on bigbox nothing opens at all. bigbox never opens. with the startup videos back in the videos folder the start up video starts to play then black screen, and big box never loads. this is a big issue maybe Jasoc can needs to look into this isue we are having. i have a 4tb buils on a ssd thats having this issue. on my 4tb ssd its working fine. the bigbox.dll is the same file size in both bulds. we need help here cant use big box at all. tried a fressh windows install. and nothis same issue.

Ok Guys i found a fix. I removed the Bigboxsettings.xml file in the following location. 

\LaunchBox\Data/Bigboxsettings.xml. 

then big bos loads up like nowmal just need to re configure your bigbox settings to your liking. let me know if this helps.
