I need some help, my pc has bigbox shell enable, upon booting today i have a black screen. I posted this on April 25, when i had the same issue. "I am not sure if this is the same issue I'm having, but I started up my gaming PC yesterday with Bigbox set as the default shell and it boots to a black screen. No sound, I can see my cursor when I move the touchpad on my keyboard. None of my keyboard inputs, like Ctrl, Shift, Esc to bring up the taskmanager seem to work except Windows + P which brings up the project to screen window. Does anyone know how i can startup explorer.exe and undo the changes Bigbox made to the default shell? " In April, I ended up reinstalling the operating system; my games are on a separate drive. After that incident, I created a restore disk in case this happened again. Well it happened again. I don't want to do a restore. I would like to find a fix. C-Beats tried to help but we're both stumped. Here's what I've tried so far: "I was able to mount the os drive from another computer and I loaded the registry hive from there and changed the shell from Drive letter:\Launchbox\Core\Bigbox.exe to explorer.exe from here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell but the shell is still not loading, black screen is still there. Can still see mouse pointer everything else mentioned above." Windows+R open run? Ctrl+Alt+Delete menu None of these work "I just tried to boot in safe mode. Still loaded a black screen. Tried safe mode, safe mode with networking, and Safe mode with command prompt, nothing comes up. I booted into windows recovery and loaded the registry hive for my account and set it to explorer.exe and rebooted and still got a black screen. I rebooted back into recovery and checked the registry hive again and it still says explorer.exe. so I'm not sure what's happening at this point. I've attached a few screenshots. One with the black screen only showing the presentation button working. Another with the bigbox reg key and the change to explorer.exe" Also of note, I'm using windows 10 enterprise

I couldn't find a way to exit the black screen, so i reinstalled the operating system. My games are alright since my OS is on a separate disk. But I will definitely create a system restore disk to save time in case this happens again.

Hello All, I'm looking to combine things I like from Platform Wheel 2 and Platform wheel 3 into a new Platform wheel and give it new name, Platform Wheel 5 so it's available as a separate choice. Is this as simple as creating a new xaml file and copying and pasting the things i like from the xaml files of Platform Wheels 2&3 and saving it as a new xaml file Platform Wheel 5? or is there more to it? I'm not quite sure what i would copy and paste to begin with. I can make out a few things, but not sure about everything in the xaml. Combine Platform Wheel 2 1. Static platform wheel (would like it to curve a little when on the selected platform like it does on the Old Default Theme) 2. Details and description Platform Wheel 3 1. Fullscreen Video background 2. Date & time Also on the game list view, I have full screen coverflow enable and i would like to add the date next to the clock. I was going through my themes list and I came across the old default theme which has the fullscreen video background, but it's faded which is not what I want. I want the video to be fully visible like it's done on platform Wheel 3. Thank you,

Hi, I'm having the same problem. i'm running the default AHK settings (mines was blank) . i came across this thread and dolphin will not exit from the pause screen when using my xbox one controller. if i press escape on the keyboard, that works fine. I thought pressing exit from the pause screen would be the same as pressing escape on the keyboard, but that's not working for me. any suggestions?
