Can't control Big Box with cabinet arcade stick

Hello

I have a problem with big box. I've built a bartop with EG start joysticks which are identified by windows 11 as Generick Usb Joystick.

I've selected all the controllers option in bigbox but there's no way to pilot big box with the joystick. Nor the control mapping works Only xbox controller works.

Is there a solution or a program to let big box identifies the joysticks and buttons

I personally use x360ce in my cab. I didn't have the issue you are experiencing but I needed it to get the controls to work the way I wanted across all the games I wanted to play on it. x360ce will be able to map all your inputs to a virtual Xbox Controller that the app can see and use and should fix your issue. You also have the ability to set up per-app configurations to assist you should you run into any issues with the games/emulators you want to play with your cab.

I have used EG Start sticks and buttons on many builds and never had an issue. I think one cabinet I have still has those in it. When you try to bind the buttons and control stick in the controller mapping section is it not keeping the option or not even recognizing you pressed a button to bind?
