Is getting Daphne games to work in the year 2023 even possible?

I am so close to my dream of playing Space Ace on an arcade cabinet, but I cannot for the life of me get it to work. I tried following some youtube tutorials but a lot of the information out there is outdated. I see people on youtube with recent videos have it working, but I am assuming they've had it for a while. Obviously you can't post links, but can someone gently nudge me in the right direction to get some answers please?

Yes, it's possible but I couldn't tell you how to get it working.

If you just want Space Ace and the Dragons Lair games then take a look at the Wii version or Steam. Those will be much easier to setup.

There are guides here on the forums on getting Daphne working but in my experience it is such a pain in the ass and not worth the effort (IMHO), the games just do not excite me enough to go through that hassle.

It's old but should still be the same.  Just follow step by step.  Keep in mind there is a new improved version of Daphne called Hypseus... a lot of the stuff in the tutorial will be the same or similar for Hypseus, so if you can get Daphne running you should be able to do it as well.  This will get you started.
