MESEN - Remove controller icons in lower right

Brand new to MESEN.  I'm testing a game I wrote but there is important information in the lower right that I cannot see because the two controller / keypad icons are there.  How do I remove those icons?

To be honest, you might not get much help, because I'm not aware of many people who use MESEN around here. I've never used it myself.

Do you have a screen shot of what you are referring too ?

I don't see any icons or anything else on the bottom right when I load a game in Mesen.

You can check the emulators Options > Preferences > Advanced window to see if anything is enabled there that might be causing it.

I checked every single menu option until I found it.  It was hidden under Options, Input, Advanced, Display Controller Input.
