Joe35car Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 (edited) OK so I want to delete my Sony Vita Playstation XML and system from LB. I delete it from the list on the lift. I also delete the XML in the playlist. When I reboot LB the damn system reappears. Why is it doing this? Thanks UPDATE: Went away finally. Edited February 27, 2024 by Joe35car Quote
Retro808 Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 In your \Data\Platforms folder do you keep any platform xaml backups or are there any alternate versions of the Vita xaml in there such as Sony Playstation Vita_backup.xaml or Sony Playstation Vita_old.xaml? We usually see what is happening when a users keeps copies or backups of platform xaml files in that folder. You need to remove those or LB will try to read them. Quote

It fianlly went away. I did look for what you said but didn't have any. I did have a sony playstation vita(O) and delete that. Then it worked. I labeled that(O) as my original for a backup. Quote

That is what I meant by any xaml with an alternative name to the existing platform. You cannot save any additional files in that folder or LB will try to use them. If you make copies, backups, or anything additional you need to save in another folder. Best option would be make a subfolder inside the \Data\Platforms and save them in that. Quote
