A few years ago,I bought a license for bigbox, but I was disappointed to find the problem that launchbox/bigbox did not have a directory to overexpose control animation videos on top of themes using bigbox. Now,I want to start an arcade cabinet construction project that I have been planning since then, but I am not sure if today this function is still not possible. I'm not looking to customize or create a specific theme, but to be able to overexpose these videos (normally they are.flv in hyperspin or atttract mode) in bigbox themes, at least possible in unified They told me previously that it is possible to record a video theme with this function active from another frontend and use the recorded video theme for launchbox, but although I think this provisional solution could be useful to record some videos like those used in the main menu for each system ...let's imagine for a moment the crazy and enormous amount of videos needed to record if we want to show every game in Mame's list, just to mention an example. Unless there is some place or user that has worked recording each of these, with the animations included. Unfortunately, after studying several ways what I want, for any of the bigbox themes that I need to use in my project, I have come to the conclusion that Bigbox is not prepared for this. At first, I thought of this as a possible solution, but those videos were recorded with the standard (special) control animation and also the language used by the person who recorded their themes at that time. In my case, the control animation is different, and the language too. To get what I need, Jason Car needs to enable a directory that allows overexposing control animation videos. Although the possibility of implementing something like this has been discussed for years, it is still not possible. In the meantime, I have no choice but to install another front end for my project. It makes me sad because if launchbox implemented or enabled this feature, it would be great to be able to take advantage of other current features at the same time, such as netplay lobby, Hi Scores etc. for example, but today it is not possible to simply overexpose these control animation videos in any theme.
