GamaBurst Posted June 1, 2024 Posted June 1, 2024 After importing a Full MAME Non-Merged rom set into launchbox using the MAME Arcade fullset importation tool, what is the appropriate procedure to then remove unnecessary rom files? Quote

Click a game, CTRL A to highlight them all, tools/file management/copy selected games to another folder. You could at that point delete the files in the folder that you imported, then copy the files you just copied back into it, so all the roms you imported are still in that folder but everything else is gone. 1 Quote

Ok thanks for these guidelines! Quote
thefritz11 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Downside of this is you lose the ability to have "additional apps" for the clones and/or 2 or 4 player versions right? Quote
tkssitch Posted January 11 Posted January 11 you can right-click and 'expand' the roms, for roms with different versions. Those will populate as a separate game (just edit metadata, and addon to the name so you know which one is which, for example if you have tmnt 2p and tmnt 4p, you can just add 2p or 4p to the name) do that for any games you want the 'Additional app' for. Then proceed to the steps the will export those to another folder. Quote
