Steel
Hello, i have seen it working, that if a game video is missing, then BB is using a screenshot instead. But i have few platforms, where this does not work, mostly computer platforms.... For example i have set up Commodore 64 platform (exactly the C64 Dreams from Zombeaver) and in Big Box (Theme Colorful) i can only see the videos as media. If a video is missing, i see nothing, no screenshot. But i checked the images\Commodore 64\Screenshot - Gameplay\ folder and there are correctly named images. Where do i have to look? I don't know, if this is set by launchbox, big box or the theme? Strangely i have this working for Amstrad CPC platform..... Thank you. Kefka2b
Indeed there's no options to set screenshots in Video priorities like for other media types, so I reckon it is down to how the theme is developed.
Steel
Well, it can not be a problem of the theme, cause there are working platforms as Amstrad CPC and Sinclair Sprectrum and non working as Commodore 64 and Atari 800 using the same Colorful theme. So i have to look somewhere else....
skizzosjt
I notice you said you're using Colorful theme....pretty sure that theme already has this logic in it. if video files doesn't exist, use X image instead. either that or I'm forgetting what parts of this theme I have customized myself. or you have images in wrong folder...misspelled folder or image....there would be several ways to break it from working. Solution Steel Posted June 5 Author Solution Share Posted June 5 I just deleted the theme directly in explorer, downloaded the file from this website and chose it in Big Box. Now it works as it should. Before i had chosen and installed the theme within Big Box ......maybe something went wrong ..... Well ok, solved the problem without knowing the cause. Thanks anyway for your replies. Steel

I like that we have that feature, but if the theme creator does not submit the updated version to the team it will not get tested and put in the UI theme manager. So the forum is usually best for keeping themes updated.
