Lahrs
I'm signed up wit emu movies and when I imported my games, I left all the boxes checked for images and videos from Launchbox and emumovies. What and where can I delete all the media without accidentally deleting necessary media for Launchbox? I think I just want to start with a blank media slate and re-download with a more restrictive focus. I'm not sure how my system specs fair with all media enabled, but Launchbox has become slow and bogged down. I picked all the best quality videos, and 30 second clips are huge. Right now I'm only using a 1080p monitor and I'm sure I can downgrade to at least mid quality videos without losing much asthetics. When I eventually build my new emulation station, then I will go back to high quality videos.

In Windows Explorer, navigate to your LaunchBox folder. Delete the subfolder Images and the subfolder Videos. This will remove all the images and videos that you've previously downloaded (and free up a ton of space. ). When you re-start LaunchBox, those 2 folders will automatically get recreated (right away or at least when you start to re-download the media). You may still see 'cached' images. Don't worry about those.

If the image folder is deleted the cached images would be removed as well so shouldn't be an issue. @Lahrs I'd suggest setting the media limit to 1 and only grab images you need for your desired experience. Typically a Box, Logo, Background, Screenshot is enough. If you want vids you can grab those but they do take up quite a bit of hard drive space. Lahrs
Thank you for the instructions. I just got over excited and downloaded everything at the highest quality possible. Do that for one system, not the end of the world. Start doing it for all the systems, definitely some storage and performance problems. But lesson learned and now I'm back in reality to give it another go.
