New Platforms Coming to the LaunchBox Games Database! We’ve been working behind the scenes on a new, streamlined system for adding platforms to the Games Database—allowing us to expand much faster than before! As a test run, we’ve added the Bandai Super Vision 8000 and are now in a great position to start rolling out more long-requested platforms soon. Clear Logo Creator Plugin 🖼️🔧 Community member @B-B-Lee has released Clear Logo Creator, a handy LaunchBox plugin that lets you batch-generate Clear Logos for your collection. With customizable fonts, colors, and templates, it’s a great way to fill missing logos or create a consistent look for your library! RetroArch Overlays by Naldrag 🎨🎮 Community member @Naldrag has been working on a fantastic set of 1080p RetroArch overlays for various games, now available on GitHub! The project is still a work in progress, but it already includes overlays for Nintendo Switch Online and Mega Man 1-10, with more to come. The goal is to create a curated collection that enhances the RetroArch experience with stylish, high-quality overlays. 🔗 Check it out here: Frogg Theme by Retrofrogg 🎨🐸 Community contributor @Retrofrogg has released a new LaunchBox theme—appropriately named Frogg! 🐸 This theme is a refined rework of the default LaunchBox layout, focusing on maximizing screen space and displaying as much metadata as possible without excessive scrolling. Designed with ultrawide monitors in mind, it offers an optimized layout for both game details and media previews while keeping a sleek, functional aesthetic. Give Frogg a try! Modernized MS-DOS Big Box Theme 🖥️ 💾 Community member @Eviljubs has released a Modernized MS-DOS theme for Big Box, designed to recreate the feel of using an old-school computer, complete with boot sequence sounds, hard drive effects, and slow-loading animations.
