EmuMovies Media Download Works Manually, But Fails with 404 Errors in Batch Mode

Hi everyone,

I've been experiencing a recurring issue with EmuMovies integration in LaunchBox. When I update the media for games manually (by right-clicking a game → Edit → Download Media), everything works perfectly—images and videos are downloaded without any problems.

However, when I try to update media for multiple games at once using the batch Download Metadata and Media feature, I consistently get 404 errors from EmuMovies. No media files are downloaded in these cases.

This issue seems to be directly related to how LaunchBox handles bulk requests to EmuMovies. The exact same games that fail in a batch update work just fine when updated manually, one at a time.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround? It seems like either a rate-limiting issue or something going wrong during bulk request handling.

I get the same error whether I batch download or individually get the media. Launchbox wont even recognise my EmuMovies login, but the EmuMovies website is fine with it.

Below is the error I got on a brand new install of 13.21 and letting Launchbox automatically import 3DO files, media image importing hasn't worked for me since 13.19.

The other metadata works fine though.

My issue is a bit different—EmuMovies login works fine in LaunchBox, and if I click on a game, go to *Edit* > *Download Media*, it works perfectly. But when I try to batch download media for multiple games, I get 404 errors and nothing is downloaded.

So it seems to be a problem specifically with batch media downloads.
