Sprinklezonk Posted June 10 Posted June 10 (edited) Hey guys, I am having issues with a bunch of games (windows) that won't let me add them, or download media, even though they show as being available via the gamesdb launchbox site. Just a couple of examples: 1) Elroy and the Aliens (https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/422790-elroy-and-the-aliens) won't allow me to download the media, even though it shows media on the site. 2) Alex Hill: Whispers at the White Oak Inn (https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/423570-alex-hill:-whispers-at-white-oak-inn) will not show the information when searching the title. Just comes up with a box that says "No games were found with the specified title". I have tried to search it with multiple different titles and strings ("Alex Hill","Alex-Hill","White Oak Inn", etc...). 3) Other games with similar issues include: Leila (https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/423561-leila) The Beekeepers Picnic: A Sherlockian Adventure (https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/423547-the-beekeeper's-picnic:-a-sherlockian-adventure) Does it work for anyone else? Please help. Edited June 10 by Sprinklezonk Quote
JoeViking245 Posted June 10 Posted June 10 I'm not at my main PC the test. You might try force updating your local database file under Tools < Download < Force Update.. Is the platform you have these in named Windows? If not, doesn't really matter. Just make sure that the platforms' Scrape-As is set to Windows. Quote
Suhrvivor Posted June 10 Posted June 10 One thing i noticed is that if the games or media were added to the database recently, you have to wait 1 or 2 days until they are actually available to download through LaunchBox. Try waiting a couple of days, update the local database and try again. The game's id number in the titles you posted is pretty high so I assume that's the case this time. Quote

Odd that you have to force the update - even after it has updated multiple times. Thank you for the solution! Works great now. 1 Quote
