NMD Posted July 6 Posted July 6 With the new Progress setting that has been implemented in LaunchBox, would it be possible to allow for an automated system to change a game's Progress from [Active / In Progress] to [Active / Paused] status? Maybe make it customizable so that people can set it to change automatically after a set batch of days. (I'd do 30 days, but some might set it to like a 7 or some other.) 3 Quote
zorget Posted July 6 Posted July 6 (edited) Good idea ! By the way I love this new progress feature. In the same vein, it would make sens nice if a game noted Active/Paused could switch automatically to Active/In progress when launched again. (I made the test and this does not seem to happen) Edited July 6 by zorget 1 Quote
AstroBob Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Hi Folks, This is a fantastic idea — it’s actually something we considered internally, but it didn’t quite make the cut for the first phase. That said, we’re totally open to something like this, and I personally think it’s a great idea to expand the types of rules we support. As you correctly mentioned, setting something to “paused” is a manual action, and taking it out of “paused” is also manual. We have a feature request that outlines this idea, which I’ve attached below. It would be great if you could add your support and share any additional use cases you think might be valuable. 🔗 https://feedback.launchbox.gg/p/rule-based-auto-pause-for-inactive-games Make sure to follow along there so we can keep you updated on any progress 2 Quote
C-Beats Posted Monday at 01:04 PM Posted Monday at 01:04 PM Man ya give em what they want and they just come back with MOAR MOAR MOAR!!!.... (joking of course... well a little) Was going to say it sounded like a pretty solid feature idea but then I saw AstroBob pushing HIS ticket he created for it and now I'm not sure I want to give him the satisfaction... 2 1 Quote
