Nintendo DS with Retroarch core DeSmuME

OK this was working in the past. Now it doesn't want to load. Does nothing. My cores are updated in RA. RA works on other system in LB. It also works using the official DeSmuME exe. Not sure what the issue is.

Update: I unzipped the file and now they work. Weird because they were always zipped in the past.

Can someone please verify if their Nintendo DS zips work for the DeSmuMe core in Retroarch? Mine work when I unzip them but this wasn't the case in the past.

I'm running LB 13.22 here with Retroarch 1.21.0 with compressed DS games with no issue. I just verfied this.

Hmmm. Are you also using the most recent core?

I didn't change any settings. Is there any settings I should look at in retroarch? Also did a search and some people have the same issue but didn't see any fixes.

My desmume core is dated 5/1/2025, so probably not the latest.

I haven't changed anything specific for DS games/core related settings.

Same as mine. Just weird

OK I went in LB and had to check mark unzip files then it worked. Don't recall having to do this but works. Thanks for the help.
