5thWolf Posted Thursday at 12:07 AM Posted Thursday at 12:07 AM (edited) Is there a way to configure the video to not have the black bars on top and bottom of the video preview. I know it's not the videos, when watching them in full screen there are no black bars but in preview there are. Edited Thursday at 12:07 AM by 5thWolf Quote

When I see people have a problem like this in the past, it's due to the metadata thumbnail that's embedded in the video file itself. You can see in your screenshot that the video file you are using has an embedded thumbnail that's causing sizing issues when the video plays back. You can use a program like Mp3Tag to remove those thumbnails from those videos and it should solve your problem. 1 Quote

All I can tell you is why it's happening. Only people that have thumbnail metadata images embedded into the video file itself will see this issue, and the image needs to be a different size than the video's aspect ratio. Your version of the file does seem to have this. I just downloaded the EmuMovies video through LB for that game, and the file I received does not have that thumbnail embedded in it and therefore don't see that problem. You can notice this because in my screenshot the thumbnail in the media carousel is showing an auto-generated snapshot of the video itself, and yours is showing the embedded EmuMovies image. It's possible at some point they updated their files to remove those images, or maybe it depends on the quality you downloaded, or whether you downloaded it from the EmuMovies LB server, vs their ftp, vs their website.. .etc. but yeah, that's why it's happening. Mp3Tag should be able to strip those images for you in bulk out of your video files. 1 Quote

5thWolf Posted Thursday at 03:08 PM Author Posted Thursday at 03:08 PM (edited) Ok I am running the app and awesomely enough it takes every video to do batch work! awesome!!!! Only question I have is where is the option to handle the thumbnails. I don't see it. Unless its called something else? Gonna try remove Album Art. Edited Thursday at 03:14 PM by 5thWolf Quote
5thWolf Posted Thursday at 03:28 PM Author Posted Thursday at 03:28 PM Oh wow it worked!!! That's awesome! @faeran your are awesome!! Still annoying for futures videos. Wish LB just didn't use that metadata and no one would have to go through this. Quote
