Using shortcuts to run Sony PSN games via RPCS3 ?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to run games via shortcut for Sony PSN games ?

They run ok if I go directly to the Eboot.bin file, but come up with this error when I try to use a shortcut ?

What exactly is the shortcut pointing to?  The games Eboot.bin file (then renamed for clarity?)?
Or is it pointing to another folder containing the .bin file? (which as I think about it won't work anyway)

The app looks like it's looking for specific file types (file extensions) where .lnk is not one of them.

 

Assuming your shortcut pointed to the .bin file, you could try using a symbolic link instead of a shortcut.  The created links filename [minus extension] can be renamed and still open the original file.

Yes it's pointing to the eboot.bin file.

Also just created some ahk files and they all load perfectly but LB  just give the same error on both.

Can you show what your script is doing (for comparison)?
