A lot of the time when I close launchbox (either the X or from the menu) it leaves instances open in the background so that the next time I try to use it I get an error about it already running and have to go into taskmanager and manually end the task. This has been happening for quite a while now. Given the overhaul V14 got I was hoping it'd be fixed now but it isn't. The only solution is to close LB by ending the task instead of letting it close properly. But then it can't do the shutdown file processing, etc it seem to do. It's got annoying enough that I'm currently just using my emulators with no frontend at all now.

Same issue. For as long as I can remember using Launchbox, I've been having this issue and I was never able to fix it. Also got my hopes up with the new version 14 Update, but that didn't fix the issue, either. I even set up a completely virgin version of Launchbox and only imported my platforms and emulators to try this out. But it just won't work.

The new "shutdown screen" of Launchbox appears, bur then Launchbox still remains in the task manager, even after the shut down window is gone.
