Many thanks for this wonderful C64 setup, it brings nostalgic feelings! The attention to detail is great. In particular, I think the background music for the magazines is super cool. I would like to add that to my own imported magazines as well. Is there somewhere I can read how to implement this? I am aware that under Launchbox I can run other applications before starting the actual application, but then the application is not closed when the magazine is closed. In addition to the bat file, you still have ahk scripts that control a few things.... that's how I would formulate it as an inexperienced person. Best regards!

search for <ImageType /> replace with <ImageType>Boxes</ImageType>

All my platforms and playlists no longer have a graphic grouping, is there a way to set it in an xml or in the global settings. I thought I knew a bit about Launchbox, but I haven't seen a setting like this before.

But I also think that this is not an error, but is due to the import of the exodos platform with the associated xml files. I had to backup my xml to see everything again.

Ultimately, my question aims to get smarter *laughs

Thank you, launchbox creates the folder automatically with comma, I can use arcadeEIP as an emulator (tutorial) but then I would have to change everything manually after an update, I have other platforms (Konami Handheld etc) that access Mame.

That sounds interesting, if you like you can keep us up to date. I took a closer look at a full import and removed many games such as chess computers, calculators, Mahjong, Casino and games that require a physical device. 400 games have already come together.

[13.3 Beta Thread]

Hi Guys, to test the new sync feature, I reinstalled my second system. I installed Windows 11 Pro. After the setup I downloaded a fresh Launchbox from the website, here in version 13.2. After the installation I wanted to start Launchbox as usual and then upgrade to Beta 13.3. I get the following error message, when I click Download, nothing happens. Is the download file defective, or is it my system? Or something wrong this the Beta Downloader for net CORE?

First, all credits go to HyperspaceMadness and  @Duimon these two have provided us with the excellent reflection shaders and graphics to go with them, an incredible feat by both of them!
Here you can find the all about the shaders and the grafics

The only thing I did was convert the shaders, thanks to Duimon for the correct hint! I used the externally downloadable tool from Rich Whitehouse.
Copies the extracted file to BigPEmu_v1054\Data\ScreenEffects, choose the bigPEmu.dstack file under settings, Video screeneffects, switche to stretch in the video menu if necessary.

Now you have the great graphics for the Atari Jaguar by Duimon and the nice reflection shader by HyperspaceMadness.

Save your changes per directory, so you have your own standards for each system. There are definitely other ways such as saving the data per core or per game.

Hi, nice to welcome another old school gamer here. In my opinion it is extremely difficult to purchase a graphics card for your budget at this point in time.

PS3 Emulation Recommended Requirements

AMD - Vulkan compatible with active driver support

AMD Polaris architecture, RX 400 series or newer

NVIDIA - Vulkan compatible with active driver support

NVIDIA Maxwell architecture, GTX 900 series or newer

For Cemu emulation (WiiU Emulation), the single core performance of your CPU (and by extension RAM speed) is the most important factor for fullspeed emulation.

Since I also play PC games with my setup, I played it safe and installed a 3070ti, but this is already too much for emulation as far as the standard platforms are concerned. The PS3 emualtion is also still in development, so from my point of view it's worth waiting, there's more to try out. I myself have only tested 3-4 games, more than a technical test.
