  1. Hmmm, well I'm 75% done xfering to an exFAT formated usb stick... I guess we will see how slow it actually is for Launchbox and GOG. (using on a GPD Win2) . I guess based on above I may have to reformatted to NTFS (since it will pretty much only be used on Win2) if it seems slow... Good info above though, thx!!
  2. @Jason Carr sorry for the confusion! from watching ETA's vid on neoGeo with retroArch, it looks like I will just need to place the retroArch folder/subfolders in a central location, run retroArch updates, and then create a "new emulator" in LB, that points to the retroArch version of the emulator. and looks like we can add a command line that points to the particular rA version of the emulator's dll... back home from Tgiving vaca now, so I can give things a try! . let me know if this makes more sense now! sorry again for the confusion!!
  3. Ah, awesome! Yeah I’m a big fan of ETA Prime’s videos too. So I’m assuming since the gpd win2 is just essentially a handheld win10 machine that his vid on retroArch for win10 should do the trick? RA looks awesome, and if it just worked out Of the box for you using retroArch that’s cool! So do I just select retroArch as the emulator in LB, or rather search for the emulator to use from inside the retroArch folders instead of where they are now in LB? Thanks again!
  4. I’m having nes and snes issues getting gamepad to work/map properly also! Let me know if you figure something out, I’ll do the same ?
  5. Just trying to get the controller of the win2 configured, but it doesn't seem to recognize the dpad of the controller section of the win 2, and neither NES/SNES seem to recognize any controller actions. when I switch back to "mouse" then it seems to recognize SOME, but not dpad or joystick... what am I missing? (it's enabled in LB settings (to use gamepad) is there another setting, since I'm using a win2 that I'm missing cause I'm a noob? thanks soo much!
  6. ah, ok! gotcha!! I have just been going with the emulators that LB suggests for emulators to install for NES and SNES so far, seem to be going ok so far! if I choose to launch game/emulator in fullscreen, is there a shortcut (on win2) to exit back to the LB screen? (or exit/close game and go back to the main/blank emulator screen - that would be fine too)
  7. Is there a central location in LB to update the ROM and Emulater paths? - or at least you can just update once per emulator? thanks again!
  8. Not sure if this is a Noob/getting started question, but I'm a Noob to LaunchBox and getting my GPD Win2 this weekend. Watched a lot of ETA Prime vids too, and looks like LaunchBox/BigBox would be the way to go for retro gaming on the Win2. Are there any special configurations I should initially be setting up since it's a portable Win2, not a PC laptop/desktop? Just wanna be able to hit the ground "gaming" with as little hurdles or hiccups as possible! Thanks!
  9. Hey there, new to the forum/LB/BB, but I've been reading up and watching vids about the GPD Win2 and I should be getting min this weekend. Per your replies above, does LB/BB run most consoles stock without config? Or will I need to plan on config. each of the consoles that I want to be included in LB/BB (I haven't been a LB user until now either, so I wont be loading anything existing (need to find a good place to find the games too! lol) Thanks for the info, I also can't wait to get starting gaming on my Win2!
